This course provides a thorough understanding of the marketing concepts and theories that apply to sports and entertainment. Areas this course covers include basic marketing concepts, publicity, sponsorship, endorsements, licensing, branding, event marketing, promotions and sports and entertainment strategies. This course will emphasize the main sporting and entertainment that events which occur during the Spring semester including Super Bowl, March Madness, entertainment award shows, etc.
